2025 U13-U18 Team Formation Information
The 2025 competitive soccer season is fast approaching. Registration for U13 to U18 closed at midnight on March 31st. The FYSC board met on April 2nd to review the registration numbers for U13 to U18 competitive soccer.
As a result of the registrations numbers this year - FYSC intends to offer the following competitive soccer teams:
U13 Boys Division 1 - One Team
U13 Boys Division 2 - One team
U13 Girls Division 1 - One Team
U15 Boys Division 1 - One Team
U15 Girls Division 1 - Two Teams
U18 Boys Division 1 - One Team
U18 Girls Division 1 - One Team
For the U15 Girls teams - we will divide the players into two comparable teams using the Team Genius scores arising from the tryouts. ESL has not created a division 2 for U15 girls this year and therefore both our teams must play in Division 1.
If anyone missed the registration deadline for U13 to U18 competitive - please contact our Director of Competitive (Bobby-Jo Hurley) at fyscdoc@gmail.com right away. We have decided to create a waitlist for players that missed the registration deadline.
Waitlisted players will be notified by FYSC prior to tryouts if there is an opportunity to tryout for a spot on a competitive team this season. Please note the FYSC board may increase or decrease the number of teams in each age category based on our final numbers. The purpose of this message is simply to try to keep parents, guardians and players up to date on what they can likely expect this year in competitive soccer based on our current numbers.
